Hickory Chair Mahogany King Size Planters Four Poster Bed. Excellent condition. Solid Mahogany Planter’s Bed from the Mark Hampton Collection at Hickory Chair. Larger and more dramatic than their English antecedents, West Indies beds reflected the exuberant spirit of the West Indian craftsmen. This bed features a great variety of hand-carved and turned elements found on West Indies beds, including pineapple carving, turned feet and disk turnings. Metal side rail, headboard & footboard mattress supports and metal center support.Dimensions 79" wide. Posts 88.5" tall and total length 96.5.
