Mary Lou Cost Portofino Harbor Oil on Board. Very good condition. Painted frame approx 17" x 14". Weight 2 lbs 10 oz, About the artist:Mary Lou was born and raised in Shillington, PA. She graduated from Kutztown State Teachers College with a B.S. Degree in Art Education. She moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where she taught art for the public school system and offered adult painting classes for several years.Having lived in such varied locales as St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands; New Orleans, LA; and Birmingham, AL, Mary Lou’s art reflects a variety of subject matter. Mary Lou has won many awards and prizes throughout the 1970s-1980s. Mary Lou’s paintings are represented in many public and private collections throughout the south.
