This decorative chest is a Teluga Kavidipetti Marriage Dowry Chest from India and is made of teak wood. It is easy to recognize by its delicate latticework and the exuberantly adorned interior. The chest dates from the19th century. Finely Carved Details, Multiple Compartments and Hidden Storage. Measures approx. 27" x 16" x 14.5"
Condition: antique, small crack to 1 side inside lid needs wood glue
