Lewis or H R Lewis, was born April 5, 1865 in Govan, Scotland, and died February 1952 in Pennsylvania. Hubert Lewis left Wales as a teen for steel work in the US. He followed his passion for painting and drawing to become a late 19th-early 20th century American artist in Pennsylvania.
