1940s Oil on Canvas of Lake Maggiore, Italy. Initialed. Professionally framed. In frame 28 1/2"x22 1/2"x 1 1/2". Weight 5 lbs Provenance: The estate of Rudy Vallee. Lake Maggiore was his favorite vacation spot. Rudy Vallee (1901-1986), was an American singer, saxophonist, bandleader, actor, and entertainer. He was the first male singer to rise from local radio broadcasts in New York City to national popularity as a crooner.
