British, 18th/19th century, square brass dial signed "Turner, Honiton", eight-day brass movement, waisted oak case, period pendulum, two weights, no winder, 79 x 19 x 8-1/2 inches. In case with later finials, some with a few cracks and separation, base molding and lower backboard restored. Provenance: Gippy Plantation, Avenue of the Oaks, Berkeley County, South Carolina
Condition: no winder, later finials, some with a few cracks and separation, base molding and lower backboard restored.
