Description
This gorgeous, heirloom quality vintage rolling pin was made by Lancaster County Wood Works in Lancaster, PA. It is called a Draal-Huls, a Pennsylvania Dutch rolling pin designed with a bar handle to provide extra leverage when rolling out dough. Made of cherry wood, it has lovely through mortise and tenon joints at the handle and a rich, aged patina. Signed with the Lancaster County Wood Works logo, original booklet from LCWW included. Measures 12” long and 6” high. Excellent vintage condition with some light wear to wood from prior use. Weighs approx 2 lbs.
