Antique Exquisite 18th c French Large Carved Wood Polychrome with Gilt Virgin of the Assumption. The statue depicts the Virgin Mary with her arms outstretched in a gesture of prayer or blessing, and stands on a base of clouds supported by angels. Professionally restored. Measures 21" wide x 8" deep x 29" tall. Weight 14 lbs.
