Andy Warhol’s Mao exhibition at the Musee Galliera in Paris, February 23-March 18, 1974, featured his iconic screen prints of Mao Zedong, the founding father of the People’s Republic of China. The show, which included both large-scale portraits and wallpaper prints, explored the intersection of art, celebrity, and political iconography.
