This miniature take on a traditional rawap or rubab features 5 strings over a wooden framing and has been beautifully hand decorated. Dating back to ancient Iran, a standard rawap would typically measure in at around 70 cm in length and is particularly used in Tajik folk music by residents of the Uyghur autonomous region of Xinjiang, Western China. Measures 16.5" x 3.25" x 3". Comes in storage box, weighs 1 lb 11 oz.
