Rare Thieme Potschappel Dresden Porcelain Figurine. Features stunning hand painted and sculpted details. Mark/Stamps on bottom. Carl-Johann Gottlob Thieme started in 1864 in Dresden a porcelain and antique shop. He was also running a porcelain painting business. In September 1872 he established a porcelain factory named S?chsische Porzellanfabrik Carl Thieme zu Potschappel. This is an exceptional piece that would be perfect in any collection. Measures 12.5" x 5" x 5.5", weighs 2 lbs 10 oz.
