Model #42, the pattern introduced c 1860, pedestal form, the hemispherical bowl decorated with repousse trailing grapevines centering a cartouche, with molded and beaded rim and ogee-domed pedestal foot 2 1/8"x1 1/2". In the original presentation box. Accompanied by 4 sterling silver salt spoons each 2.5". Approximate weight on silver 140 grams. Weight incl. box 9 oz Provenance: Gippy Plantation, Avenue of Oaks, Berkeley County, SC.
