Description
An Art Deco shirt set featuring dark abalone centers surrounded by reeded white rolled gold plated borders. The iridescent centers are alive with flashes of green and dark purple. Crafted by Larter & Sons in 14kt rolled gold plate, circa 1925. Larter & Sons was founded in 1865 and made distinctive cufflinks, dress sets and gentlemen’s jewelry during the late Victorian era and early decades of the last century. The firm had offices in New York City and manufactured its jewelry across the Hudson in Newark, New Jersey. It was known for elegant design, innovation and craftsmanship. In the original box.
