Antique Korean Bandaji Zelkova Elm Tansu Chest. Late Joseon Dynasty 19th c. Exceptional detailed metalwork and fittings. With lock. The Korean name Bandaji (meaning half closing) is from the hinged door in the front. Used to store important documents and valuables with blankets stored on top during the day. Measures 34" L 16.5" W 30" H
