Glass enclosed diorama model of the sailing vessel Jabegue Dos Hermanos (Palma de Mallorca). Inscription on bottom reads "Jabegue Dos Hermanos de 100 t. Matricula de Palma de Mallorca, que al mandodel Piloto Don Ernesto Soler navego de 1868 al 1901. Perdiéndose el dia 14 de Enero de 1912 frente a las costas de Cadiz." Made by J.J. P. in Barcelona. The shadow box measures 19.5"x15"x2 3/4". Weight 6 pds. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Collection.
