Description
Antique c. 1880 Italian Carretto Siciliano Palermo Traditional Market Cart. This cart originated in Palermo, Sicily. Hand carved, hand painted and iron elements. Flowers, putti on every surface on the wheels. Colorful illustrations of familiar folk iconography and historic events on the panels and interior. With a photo of the original owner and the cart in use. 37" wide, 79" long including handles and 41" high. Does have age expected wear and one handle needs to be reattached.
