Framed handwritten letter and portrait of Empress of Russia Maria Feodorvna. Maria Feodorovna, known before her marriage as Princess Dagmar of Denmark, was Empress of Russia from 1881 to 1894 as the wife of Emperor Alexander III. She was the second daughter of Christian IX of Denmark and Louise of Hesse-Kassel. Maria’s eldest son became the last Russian monarch, Emperor Nicholas II. Letter in frame measures 19"x12" and portrait measures 10"x8". Total lot weight is 4 lbs 3.7 oz.
