Louis Jacques Vigon (French, 1897-1985) Mid Century Watercolor on Board "notre Dame and the Bouquinistes along the Seine". Signed lower right. In frame under glass measures 17.5"x15"x1". Weight 3 lbs 6 oz. Louis Jacques Vigon grew up in Rouen which he rarely left except for the occasional journey, From 1922 until the outbreak of World War I, he studied at the L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, , later working as a stage set designer, first in Rouen and then throughout the world.
