Roland Hamon (French, 1909-1987) Oil on Canvas of Saint-Gervais in Paris from the Seine. Signed lower right. In gold leaf wood frame. Measures 25"x20.5"x2". Weight 6 pds. French artist, Roland Hamon, was a painter and watercolorist of landscapes and urban scenes. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris and exhibited at the Salon des Artists. A prolific artist, Hamon captured and preserved many views of Paris from the 1930s to the 1970s. His artworks can be found in many international collections.
