It is Published by Currier & Ives, "Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1862 By Currier & Ives , in the Clerk’s office of the District Court of the U.S. for the Southern district of New York", Bottom right corner- "Lith. Currier & Ives New York". Bottom Left corner- "F. F. Palmer, Del.". In frame 27"x35"x1". Weight 10 lbs. This lithograph, created for the famous firm Currier & Ives, is one of Frances (Fanny) Flora Bond Palmer?s most recognizable images. The Hudson River Valley is visible in the background, boats sailing, mountains rising in the distance, and a single house tucked amongst the trees. A delicate hummingbird floats by a trumpet vine, growing along the balcony. There is a table set with berries, grapes, and other fruit surrounding a gold-trimmed vase overflowing with a stunning arrangement of roses, tulips, and other Springtime flowers.
