A lot of antique Indian miniature watercolor portraits on oval plaques made of natural materials. Mughal Empire period, 1526 to 1858. A total of seven plaques in a common ornate carved ebony frame under glass. The portraits represent the Mughal royalty, Abu’l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar, Salima- Sultana and others. Frame measures 17"x14"x1". Weight 6 lbs.
