Antique French 22" Doll by SFBJ (Societe Fran?aise de Fabrication de Bebes et Jouets) who were the last of the great French doll making companies. Formed at the at the end of the 19th Century, SFBJ made dolls until the early 1960s. Porcelain head #302 mold, jointed composition body, blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth. Measures 22m". Weight 6 lbs. PROVENANCE: The estate of Sylvia Iris Bishop, noted Savannah, GA doll collector.
Condition: good, some loss to gesso to 1 hand
