Original 19th c Hand Painted Tibetan Mandela from the collection of Charles Burton Fahs. In frame measures 27" x 19 1/2" x 1". Total Weight 5 1/2 lbs. Charles Burton Fahs, international scholar, Japanese expert and American diplomat, was one of the most eminent individuals ever to serve as a member of the faculty of Miami University. He was a respected authority on Japan. He also served with the Rockefeller Foundation as Assistant Director in the Humanities Division.
Condition: good, small creases from where it was rolled long ago
