Original Roberta Bernays Black Straw and Net Hat size 22 1/2". Very good condition. Roberta Bernays was an American hat designer active in the late 1930s. Her work is known for its elegance and craftsmanship, often incorporating wool, silk, straw and metal materials. One of her hats from this period is part of the collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In Marlene, 202 King Street, Charleston Hat Box. In box 12.5"x12.5"x7". Weight 1 lb 3 oz.
