Northern Philippines, Ifugo Province, early 20th century. A large wooden shield that bows out at its center and features three bands of braided wicker horizontally around its body. The back features a carved inset wicker-wrapped handle. Measures 13"x4"x39". Weight 5 lbs. Provenance: A Private Daniel Island Estate
Condition: antique, good missing 1 band of wicker
