Framed oil on canvas, daisies and lilacs on vase, 20th c., signed lower right Jamie Lisa (b. 1956). In frame 22"x26"x1". Weight 3 lbs 12 oz. At an early age Lisa began to draw and paint images of the lush Korean countryside. She loved the colors and beauty of nature. Lisa enjoys painting still-life floral bouquets; water lilies and the colorful countryside of European landscapes with fields of sunflowers, lavender and poppies are some her favorite subject matters. Lisa’s original oil paintings have been acquired by numerous private collectors and represented by selected fine art galleries throughout the Asia, Canada, and the United States.She has won over 7 awards and honors in the National Student Fine Art Competition in Seoul, Korea. She is a Recipient of the Special Prize at both the Competition of Fine Art at Hong-Ik University and the Korean Women Fine Art Exhibition at Sejong Cultural Center, Korea.
