Vintage American Folk Art Print by Ruth Russell Williams (1931-2010). In frame measures 16.5"x13.5"x 1". Weight 2 pd. 3 oz. Born in Vance County, North Carolina, Williams’ parents were sharecroppers and her memories of rural life populate her folk art paintings. In 2009, an exhibition of her paintings, entitled "Ruth Russell Williams: Master Storyteller, " was displayed at the NCCU Art Museum in Durham, NC. Ruth Russell Williams lived from 1931 to 2010.
