2 Professionally framed and Matted E. Charlsie Vorwerk (1934-2003) Pencil Signed Prints of Summerville, SC. Includes 1 that has 3 Postcard sized Prints of The Teacherage, Sumter Ave and Timrod Library 16.25"x10"x1". The other is a long print of the Town Square in Summerville SC 23.5"x12.5"x1". Weight combined 5 lbs 12 oz. E. Charlsie Vorwerk was a talented artist known for her diverse creative pursuits. She received her A.B. Degree in Creative Art from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. Throughout her career, she wore many artistic hats. Mrs. Vorwerk?s artistic journey spanned across different media, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, and basic drawing techniques. She also taught private group art classes, sharing her knowledge and passion with others. Notably, she was the Art & Craft Exhibit Chairman for The Flowertown Festival in Summerville, SC, from 1973 to 1998. Additionally, she co-coordinated The Washington Park Piccolo Spoleto Art Show. Her accolades include being nominated as an ?Academic of Italy? in 1980, receiving the Golden Centaur Award in 1982, and being honored by the ?Academy of Nations? in 1983. In 1985, she was awarded ?The Oscar of Gold? by the Italian Art Academy. E. Charlsie Vorwerk?s legacy lives on through her vibrant artwork and contributions to the artistic community.
