Rita Morse Smith is an internationally known self taught realistic artist whose sensitive, romantic watercolors, acrylics and oils hang in private and corporate collections across the nation and abroad. long time resident of Columbia, South Carolina, she fell in love with the low country of the state spending summers in Hilton Head, Pawleys, Keowa and Edisto Islands and storing memories of the countryside and beaches, sunrises, sunsets and misty marshes. Rita started drawing and painting at the age of seven and never stopped.
