Description
Original Pastel and Gouache Moonlit Coastal scene with Fishing Boat and Lighthouse attributed to Clarence E. Braley (Massachusetts, 1854-1927). 17"x38"x1.75".Weight 11 lbs. Clarence Braley was a self-taught landscape painter whose favorite mediums were watercolor and pastel. He was active in New Bedford, Massachusetts from 1875 to 1925 and participated in the New Bedford Art Association. He also exhibited at the Boston Art Club and the Art Institute of Chicago.
