Her art is characterized by its impressionistic style, freedom of strokes, and complexity of color. Tilley’s garden scenes and rural landscapes are her most frequent subjects, and she often works on location to capture the light and atmosphere of real places. She has shown in nine solo exhibitions and has won awards, including the Most Luminous Landscape in the 2016 Vermont Pastel Society Members’ Exhibit.
