She was born and raised in Japan and moved to Los Angeles as a teen. She has BA and MA (summa cum laude) in Art from UCLA. Her newest works may be viewed in The Crosscurrent 2019 exhibition at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, January, 2019 and solo show "Biodiversity:New Works" Gallery Rin, Tokyo, January 2019. Her upcoming shows are scheduled at Red Bud Gallery in Houston and Wichita Falls Art Museum in Texas in 2021 and at Santa Paula Art Museum in southern California.
