Description
Antique 19th c French Rococo Style Double Inkwell Brass/Bronze Ink Stand the initials B.W. on the bottom. The mark BW has been identified as J.A. Bratt & Sons (tin-plate workers 1800’s to early 1900’s) of Wolverhampton (English/British) in the past. The footed inkwell base is gilt plated over cast brass/bronzein a beautiful swirled shell pattern. The lid for the left side inkwell is loose but still displays well. Measures 13"x8 1/2"x5".
