Large limited edition Giclee "Island Girls" by Jim Booth 2004 Signed and numbered 167/2000 by Jim. A view of the shrimp boats at Crosby?s Seafood on the way to Folly Beach, SC. Jim traveled Folly Road for many years and this was one of his favorite places for inspiration along the way. Jim Booth was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1945. He is a self-taught artist who has specialized in realistic, lowcountry South Carolina paintings. While majoring in architecture at Clemson University, he decided that art was where his future lay. In order to fulfill his military obligations, he left school and joined the Marine Corps for four years of service, including combat in Vietnam. During the war he drew, making pencil drawings of the scenery. In 1977 Jim opened his own gallery. Professionally framed in wood frame at the Gallery 42"x32"x1 1/4". Weight 10 lbs
