Jerzy Miller (1921 – 1985) Limited Edition 1958 Etching #53/100. Warsaw Poland. Signed and numbered by the artist. Professionally framed. In frame 21 1/2"x16 1/2"x1". Weight 3 lbs 3 oz. Jerzy Miller was a Polish artist born in 1921. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and practiced workshop and applied graphics, including postage stamps, postcards, and book illustrations. He was also a securities designer and created the drawing of the solar system on the reverse of the 1000 zloty banknote with Copernicus in 1963. In 1964, he had an individual exhibition in Warsaw. Miller passed away in 1985.
