Lowcountry artist Mary Edna Fraser "Atmosphere" Monotype. Pencil signed and titled by the artist. Born and raised in Fayetteville, NC, Fraser studied textiles, interior design and art at East Carolina University. Flying in her grandfather?s classic Ercoupe with her brother as pilot and photographing the coastal islands of Georgia and South Carolina, Fraser realized she could have adventures and recreate the landscape as art. The award-winning artist, whose work can be found in galleries, homes, museums and public spaces across the country, has collaborated on two books with Duke University Professor Emeritus Dr. Orrin Pilkey, a noted coastal geologist. Mary Edna has worked with the Coastal Conservation League since 1983, supporting their mission to protect endangered SC land and water. Professionally framed and matted. In frame 20.5"x1"x32.5".
