Vintage Large Japanese Wood Tea Transport Box/ Shipping Crate. These tea boxes were lined with tin to keep tea leaves airtight fresh. These chests are ideal for unique furniture, storage and planters. The crate has shipping labels affixed to the exterior, with Japanese characters and markings; otherwise unmarked. The lid is fitted to the base. Great for use as a small table. Measures 26 1/2"x17"x19. Weight 21 pds.
